3X says "So this post could be the last I'll send from Singapore... or rather from my house in Woodlands... So what shall I write? Talk about moving... feelings... anxiety... excitement.... I don't know, I didn't feel any different, most probably because I'll still be commuting to and fro everyday, so other than sleeping in another country, I'll still be making a living here. The house I live in will be different, but work will be the same.
But the kids will have a more different life, and they definitely had some sad touching moments with their classmates at school, being the last for them today. They had cards made for them by each of their classmates and even teachers, and as I read each one of them, it managed to pull some tear nerves.
Anyway, we all are excited to live in a suburb... away from city life, hdb life and minority life.
I don't think we will miss this country much... its just 20km away, a 10 mins drive bring us back anytime. If you wondering how am I gonna survive crossing checkpoints everyday, actually when I finish work at 5:30pm, I reached the house at 6:30pm via 2nd link, less traffic but higher tolls, but I'll save a little on petrol (buy only my) and no need for hdb season parking.
Anyway, do visit us, when you passing by... we open our gates to you....
