3X says "Well I'm sure most of us have seen the movie "Don't look behind" malay horror movie, either at the cinema or vcd or youtube (*ehem). Anyway, for the hundredth times, why horror movies only feature female ghosts. Think about it, when is the last time we watched a male version. It's gender discrimination I tell you. Yes I protest!!! Apa orang lelaki tak boleh jadi ke? Mana boleh! Tak adil!!!

Asyik-asyik, pompuan rambut panjang, mata merah dan ada taring. Lepas tu boleh terbang, tapi yang kelakar bila dia kejar slow pulak tu, dan kengkadang, yang hang tak faham ni... kenapa mesti merangkak kat lantai... kan kotor.

Anyway, teringat hang minggu lepas, malam jumaat... ada orang ketuk kat pintu. Hang ingat ada orang jual keropok, so perut pun dah lapar, hang bukak pintu. Bila bukak, terperanjat kodok seh, ada pompuan tua rambut panjang, dengan keadaan kotor sekali, dan berbau busuk. Kepala dia tunduk, so hang tanya, "Makcik cari apa?"... dia tak jawab... tanya 3 kali, dia pun cakap "Makcik nak tumpang bilik air, boleh tak? Makcik sesat baru sampai dari semberang."... Hang pun fikir dua kali, tapi tak sampai hati nak cakap tak boleh, takut dia terburai depan pintu, dah jadi satu kerja pulak.

"Oklah, makcik, bolehlah pakai tapi cepat sikit ye, pasal saya sorang kat rumah, anak bini balik Ayer Hitam." Hang bukak pintu, kasi dia masuk, dengan perlahan dia menuju ke dapur. Fooooh bau pekong beb, lantai jadi hitam pasal tapak kaki dia. Lepas nak dekat satu jam dia kat dalam toilet, senyap pulak tu... hang pun risaulah, apasal lama sangat dan senyap pulak tu.

Hang ketuk pintu dua tiga kali, "Makcik buat apa? Lamanya?"... senyap je... hang ketuk lagi "Makcik, ok tak?"... senyap jugak, kali ketiga hang ketuk, pintu terbukak sendiri, dan kat depan pintu, seorang perempuan yang berdiri dengan bau yang sedap sekali... bajunya putih sekali, dan sungguh suci baunya.... Hang macam dah nak pengsan nampak dia macam gitu... hang pun tanya "Eh! Siapa awak? Apa dah jadi ni?"....

Perempuan itu, mengeluarkan sesuatu dari tangannya dan berkata
"GUNALAH Sabun Zaitun tanpa was-was..."

khahahhahahahahahahahaha!

Everything is not working

3X says "This is the time of the year where everything seems to be turning bad. First is the car, I have finally given up hope, that the car will transform into a robot, and repair itself. Yes, after a couple of brake problems, electrical problems, glass window problems, leaking problems... I have return it to sender... the scrapyard... and its probably a tin of sardine now. So goodbye Honda Civic, you have serve us well and we get the message (not starting for a hundred times), that you just want to retire.

What else is not working anymore?... The TV, the rice cooker, the water heater, the toilet, the washing machine, the fridge... and the worst of all - the airconditioner. I can live without all the above, but sleeping without the aircon, is really uncomfortable. We have 4 fans running at night with windows open, and we are still sweating! Incidentally the aircon compressor is faulty, so hopefully its fixed by this week.

And today, things just gets "better and better". We went to Giant, Tampines to look for a new rice cooker, so after that we waited at the taxi stand. I kid you not, we waited for nearly 1 hour, and we were still 5th from the front. We given up, and then waited for the shuttle bus to Tampines and after waiting for half-an-hour, we realised we stood at the wrong line... Sorry to miss the family soccer match, I think if we walked there, we could have reached it.

Well, hoping things will look brighter from now on. We are on the look-out for another car, and getting the air-con fixed, and the rest of the stuff to be operational. Wish us luck... we really need it!

Cerita Lanun

3X says "Last thursday, I was stationed at Bishan, Jalan Pemimpin to take stock of our old disposed equipments there. Anyway... had some time to kill, and also can't go back too early if not the boss thinks that I'm not doing anything there, I decided to watch a movie to kill time. So I went to Junction 8, Bishan and just picked a movie. "Pirates of Carribean 3". Anyway I'm not a fan of this show, mainly because of that Jack Sparrow (Johnny Depp) character. He is soooo gay! Do you notice any character Johnny Depp plays, will look gay (like Willy Wonka... Edward Scissorhand). Anyway as I said, I knew not much about the first 2 movies, because it was so boring. So I thought I just have a sleep in the cinema.

But after watching it, I must confess that its quite good. Jack Sparrow is gayer than ever... look how he walks, and his hands, and his acting... (eeeyyyuccks!). Luckily this one is not so much about him, in fact he doesn't come out that often. So like always, here's the summary. After the 2nd movie, Jack got swallowed by Kraken, which actually puts him in an island called "Davy Jones locker". Anyway Will and Elisabeth, kind of rescued him by going to the world's end and with some help from stone crabs.... anyway Davy Jones lover is Calypso, who is actually the sorceror, who will grow big, and turn to millions of crabs, and wreck havoc on the weather.

Anyway the end scene, where the Flying Dutchman and Black Pearl in battle is very good. And there are few laughs and slapsticks. Overall I find this movie watchable, unlike the first 2, in my opinion. So just give Spiderman 3 a miss, that movie sucks man, and watch pirates, but make sure you know who is who from the first 2 parts."

3X says "Congratulations to AC Milan, being the winners of the UEFA Champions League today. Even though Milan are the winners, but I think Liverpool deserve it more than them. Granted they did score 2 goals, but it was the most freakiest goals... but coming from Inzaghi is not surprising at all. The first one was scored via his shoulders... and I don't think its intentional, its a deflection from a good position. The second one, is typical Inzaghi's goal, always trying to beat the offside trap, and this one it worked for him.

So with last year world cup winner being Italy, and the 3 top english teams beaten in this Champions League, we can rule that Serie A leagues are better :) "

Viva le blues!

3X says "All week long, I've been saying, "Drogba will score.. as long he is playing, he will score!... always definitely". Jose should just forget and sell off Ballack and Scheva, and just concentrate on keeping Drogba. And so Chelsea got their Double... actually jose wants quadruple, but we all already know what happenlah...

Anyway kesian Giggs... goal denied... what to do. So if you chelsea fans want to relive the goal again...

Growing up

3X says "Lately Juliana has been asking a lot of questions... particularly like "what school abah go to? and where?" "How many subjects you study?"... "what are the marks?"... "got pass or fail?"... and so on, everyday. I sense she is really interested where her father is coming from.

Yesterday, I then decided to sit down with her and show her my academic papers. I started off with my PSLE to O-levels to diploma to adv dip. to my degree papers/results... the work places from the moment I started working... explained to her the stages in life... and she was clearly overwhelmed after the talk. I left her alone as she sat down on the sofa for quite a while, and gaze as she was in a deep thought.

It struck me then, at that very moment she is thinking about her future. I think for the very first time, this little child is on her way to being an adult as she begin to think what she is going to do, and what her life will be like, and possibly inspired, excited and worried at the same time... And looking at her thinking like that, I couldn't help feeling worried for her...

Abah and Mama will always love you ok, don't worry about growing up... just keep on playing computer games... watch lots of cartoons... talk to your friends... tear papers to do your art and crafts... love your brother and sister... just be a primary 3 student for now.... wait abah bring you play bicycle ok...".

Bola Talk

Jose... jose... jose... you crack me up man... When you say "..mathematically we can still win.." when you are 5 points below Man U, then last week when Chelsea draws with Arsenal, giving Man U the title, you said "... mathematically the champions have more points..." hahaha... you are a real numbers-man, thats why you are aiming for the Quadruple, but don't feel so bad, you did get Carling cup beating Arsenal a few months ago! ...not bad for an english teacher turn coach ;) Don't get me wrong, I'm not bashing Chelsea, in fact I would rather Chelsea or Arsenal take the title, than fergie team. Mid season they manage to close the gap from 8 to 2 points. Well they gonna meet each other tomorrow and 19th May, so let's see who is really the better team... I'm rooting for Chelsea to get the FA Cup though... please.. please.. please!

As for Liverpool, what I really like to see is Liverpool make it at the top next season... when was the last time man? 1990 is it? Rafa's rotation is making my head spin, stop experimenting and just play to win lah. Anyway, lamanya tunggu 23rd May... I can't wait to see Kaka vs Gerrard at Athens. If not for Reina, they won't be there. Will it be dejavu ? I am hoping for Liverpool to win again, but AC milan is really a good and entertaining team and rightly deserve to win. But this Liverpool kelonglah, give Fullham 3 points for the last match....don't know where those players come from, and I think Fergie is gonna do the same for the West Ham match... anyways...Kaka.. Seedorf give them hell!!!

Wow Sunderland under Roy Keane is simply "WOW!", last year the black cats got only 15 points... fighting for survival is an over-statement. So next season, Roy Keane against Man U... or should I say Keane against Fergie.. WaWaWeWa!(like Borat would say)... I have goosebumps thinking about that. Anyway congrats to Sunderland and Birmingham... hopefully, next season is not survival game again, go buy good players and head to the top man!

Which brings to my Pompey! They done good this season, but a little inconsistent... no let me rephrase that.. MAJOR inconsistent! They started out good, at one point top of the table, well got David James, Sol Campbell, Kanu... then about midway and nearing the end... Crash! Bam! Kaboom!!! But.. but.. but this season they've manage to beat Liverpool and Man U! (even though not against Liverpool full team)... but still got written black and white. I was hoping they end somewhere at 6th place, but 9th place also not so badlah. I hope Harry will get good players, if not at least the good ones stay with Pompey. The very least I hope David James stay... have been a good "security guard" for the team. I have been ridiculed at work for supporting Portsmouth, but my UOP fees are paying for the pompey players... so I got to support my "investments"...hehehe

So we bid farewell to Charlton and Watford, hope you guys do better at "Coca-Cola"... hehehe. But Darren Bent should stay at Premiership, put himself up for sale, and go somewhere better, because if Pardew is still manager for next season, I don't see Charlton coming back. And as for Watford, thanks for beating Reading, that means no UEFA for Reading... if Pompey cannot go, you also cannot go! hahaha.... (I'm begining to sound like Jose...hehe).

..... gotta start tweaking my network for better and smooth streaming, got crucial games this month... for those in the know... Sopcast is getting better nowadays ;)
